When doing a theme, laminated flashcards will be available for sale from the school, for the parents to buy and use at home with their child.

Three types:

• Picture

• Picture and word

• Word

Visual schedules

All activities of daily living will be accompanied by laminated visual schedules to help learners along. Velcro dots are also attached for easy use over and over.

• Breakfast

• Toileting (pants, nappy or pull up schedules available)

• Washing hands

• Brushing teeth

• Classroom schedules

• Home schedules (available on request)

Baby brushing sets

When children struggle to brush teeth, this baby training tooth brush set will be idle, as it helps desensitizing the mouth and then actual tooth brushing can occur. Learners who struggle with drooling will also benefit.

Head phones and/ or SD card

Music is the words which we cannot always speak but the heart understands.

SD card available containing:

• classical music

• white noise

• classical music lullabies

Sensory play

• Moon sand; or

• Kinetic sand; or

• Goo;

that is not harmful to children, can be bought at school, made on order.
